Sarah Gunn, former ADMST recipiant, 2012-2016

"In 2010 my father, Sqn Ldr David Gunn, passed away after several years of battling bowel cancer. After having served in the RAAF for the last 10 years of his life, and thus my family's absence from the UK, I was unable to receive government funding in order to return to study at tertiary level in my home country. Following several unsuccessful appeals, I faced having to go back to Australia until I was put in touch with ADMST. The trust helped me to complete my degree over here and supported me not only financially, but also on a more personal level with regular contact throughout my studies. I truly felt that my father's legacy and distinguished work within both the RAF and RAAF lived on through my ability to study International Management and Modern Languages at the University of Bath and I am eternally grateful to ADMST for the chance to have studied a degree I hoped to undertake since a young age.

Having graduated in 2016, I am now able to work full time in central London developing a career in international business that I would not have been able to reach had ADMST not supported me. I hope to help the Trust continue the brilliant work and support they are so readily eager to offer."
